Project Natal made a cameo appearance on the latest episode of Smallville and aptly showed us why we shouldn't play Natal in front of friends... or anyone, for that matter.

We didn't get any more details about Microsoft's Project Natal add-on for Xbox 360 from the X10 event, but tonight Smallville viewers got to watch someone else whipping their arms and legs around trying to catch imaginary balls flying out of their TV screen. Short of some actual time gesticulating wildly in front of that motion sensing cam this is the closest thing we've got to actually using it, but as the clip shows, girls are likely to be more impressed by someone that can fly.

I haven't seen the show in years so I was kinda shocked to see how average-looking Clark's actor has gotten. He used to have such a sweet face. I had the biggest crush on him when I was younger.

At least, I think that's Clark in the video. I would've thought he'd be leaping tall buildings in a single bound and circling planets by now... not playing Natal. XD

The character in the video is not Clark Kent.

That makes me feel better then.

Still, that guy has an uncanny resemblance to Tom Welling.

Still playing catch up with Smallville, currently on Season 8 and this clip is no doubt from Season 9. So i'll just see it when I see it.

Also from everyone whos shitting all over it, it's possibly one of the best shows on TV at the moment along with Supernatural, Lost, Chuck and Bones.

What? It WAS, but now it's just.......well I've been watching the series though I think I missed out on season 6 or 7 but I just don't like what's it's turned into now. I still like some episodes, but some of them suck. Real bad.

I'm interested in that episode, he looks like Clark....only younger.

I only watch it for Allison Mack especially if it's an episode about her. Chloe Sullivan >>>>>>>>>>>>> Louis Lane

You need to watch some other shows. There are more channels than just Fox, NBC and ABC.

The first...3 or 4 seasons were good, but then they started mixing things up to the brink of the guy actually being Superman. I mean, how long can they go on for until he puts on the cape? Smallville has stressed on his "S" symbol, brought in other established heroes such as Martian Manhunter, Flash, Green Arrow, etc., introduced Lois Lane...I'm really surprised even a fiddle of ideas are still circulating the show.

Wait, is that Clark Kent? That can't be, he looks...different.

No way the dude who plays Clark Kent is a terrible actor with no emotion. This guy is.....energetic....

And he's already wearing the S symbol. WHY HASN'T HE LEARNED TO FLY is beyond me.

It wasn't. That was a kid who read a comic book cursed by John Zatara (Zatanna's father and one of many who trained Bruce Wayne). The curse would transform the reader into the hero of the comic... until he felt betrayed at which point he would become the villain.

These past couple of seasons of the show have had me enjoying it much more than most of the rest of the run. Comic book fan in me no doubt.
