"Piano Squall" releases debut album

"Piano Squall", a popular videogame and anime pianist, has released his debut CD entitled "GAME".
It is the first videogame and anime piano solo CD to be published by an independent musician, and a portion of the proceeds go to various charities.

A video game & anime pianist, going by the stage name "Piano Squall," has recently released his debut album. It's entitled "GAME" (Game & Anime Music Emotions) and it features music from various Final Fantasy games, Chrono Chross, Chrono Trigger, InuYasha, Cowboy Bebop, Super Mario World, Evangelion, Naruto, Tetris, Fullmetal Alchemist.

Since 2003, he has given concerts in sixteen different states to benefit organizations such as The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Race for the Cure, Baltimore Reads, The Maryland Food Bank, The Matthew Foster Foundation, and Tsunami Relief. Michael also donates a portion of all personal proceeds to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society to fight the disease that destroyed his grandmother’s life. One incredible man indeed.

"The videogame publisher Electronic Arts is partnered with me in this effort, and together we will donate an amount equal to 20% of all profits from GAME to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Please join me in the fight against MS!" Said the incredible pianist.

    I wish he'd done "You're Not Alone!" from FFIX. Or maybe the music from the goblin castle in FF (best FF music of all time). Or even Getsurenka.

    Real emotion would have been amazing on the Piano :L ... shame he doesn't do it.
    As for Real Emotion - I just hope he doesn't sing !

    P.S : ANYONE who isn't Asian should NOT do Cosplay !

      A lot of Final Fantasy heroes are based on a caucasian, western look; The Light Warriors, Firion, Cecil, Bartz, Locke, Cloud, Sephiroth, Zidane, Kuja, Tidus - all were blonde (or white) haired, with blue (or green) eyes. Even Squall had blue eyes. Off the top of my head, in the earlier Final Fantasy's, Rinoa was the only Asian-looking female, and she looked more Indian than anything. Of course, when faces got more detailed in FFX, then the faces looked more Japanese, despite the overall look of the characters being caucasian.

      Incidentally, perhaps as a mixed Asian/Caucasian, I'm the only person who should be doing cosplay.

        But you have to admit, that man doesn't look anything like Squall ^^ (( He looks Camp as well XD ... ))
        You have to have a certain look to pull off Cosplay : It would help if you actually looked like the character XD ... //

          Maybe the fact that he doesn't look like Squall is the whole fun of it! Final Fantasy characters are all touched with Pixie dust anyways.

    Does he even have permission from Squeenix to do this? Is this guy going to get sued like that Chinese singer who ripped off AC for her music video?

    It says he's partnered with Electronic Arts but EA has nothing to do with FF You would think Squeenix wouldn't really want another company to have anything to do with the guy if he's doing FF songs.
