The Special that you were waiting for. With the recent Heavenly Sword special that was aired in the UK yesterday (07/07/07) and once again today, we are bringing you not just the actual special but a breakdown of the facts that were mentioned in the show.
But firstly, I must give everyone a big warning...
MAJOR STORYLINE SPOILERS AHEAD, READ AND WATCH THE VIDEO AT YOUR OWN RISK
The first details you should note from the video is that there are two playable characters, Nariko and Kai]. The second thing is probably the most intriguing...
The Battle System:
The battle system consists of a three stance combat system. The first stance is the Speed Stance, which is also the default stance. In this stance she can attack very quickly with her two swords. The second stance is the Power Stance. You can enter this stance by holding R1, and during this stance, she will be slower than the previous stance, however the damage will be much greater. The third (and final) stance is the Range Stance during which the weapon is on chains allowing damage to enemies much further than the characters. However the downside of this stance is your inability to block attacks. Choosing the correct stance to block is also a must.
During certain points in the game you will be able to get your hands on medieval canons, which you can fire and then GUIDE the missiles using either the Sixaxis controller or the D-Pad. The same is true for Kai's weapon, which happens to be a Crossbow which you can use to dispatch enemies from a distance.
To add to the battle system, going next to an object will make the characters automatically crouch helping you avoid enemy fire.

I'm still not 100% if I want to buy it or not. It looks like a great game, but from what I saw in the trailer, it doesn't seem to be the thing for me. I think I'll stick to RPG's, GTA and the occasional one of games...
Yeah I can understand that, it's similar to God of War, don't know if you were impressed by that but it's doing quite well in sales and ratings. I don't know, seems like the PS3 could use a game like this. They don't have that many great titles atm. I see many getting this game to fill in that gap.
As big a Sony fan that I am, I must agree, but the fact still remains that there are more titles on the PS3 that I'd personally buy compared to that on the XBOX360 and Wii. But overall, I think this game will do wonders for the console (like all exclusives do in some way).
I don't know why you don't want to buy this krunal. But when the demo comes out, try it. I loved god of war and DMC 3. So this looks a lot better then both of them.

Unfortunately God of War didn't interest me, and I didn't really like DMC1, however I will definitely give the demo for this game a go. It is the Demo's for Full Auto 2 and Resistance that made me buy them (well still need to buy FA2), so you never know the same may be true for this games demo.
I initially wanted to get this game, and then my interest in it just sort of died down, but each time I read back on it, I keep getting more and more interested. In truth, haven't seen the vid yet, but I'm going to take a look at it when I get the chance.
