After a good 2 years without a new release, Namco's iconic Ace Combat series returns to the skies with a new chapter, Joint Assault. For the first time ever in the series, the Strangereal setting is ditched for real-life locations, such as Tokyo, San Francisco & Midway.

The story seems to have something to do with an insurance company and the recession, which sound like the perfect plot for a game about fighter pilots. Check out the game’s newest trailer below if you want to see what might be the first PSP game worth playing in a while.
