Control a telescope with a Wii remote

Check out this guy as he programs his Telescope to move under the command of a Wii Remote. Pretty intersting and useful if you are one of those people with very shaky hands.

    That doesn't surprise me much... You can play WoW using the Wii. I'd say XBox is going to get a run for its money, thats for damn sure.

    For those wondering, the reason why he's hooked it up to his Wii Remote is because usually you have to type commands to move the telescope (as opposed to moving it physically with your hands). Interesting video.

    Haha nice, at this rate the Wii remote is going to end up like the universal remote off the film "Click". The remote sure can do one hell of a lot of different things now.

    Not bad... though I don't think he gets any more control from that than without the wii-mote... maybe a friendlier user-interface, which may be enough to justify doing it.


    somewhat cool anyways.
    at least it opens up possibilites for other wii-mote controlled things... like... maybe.. parallel parking my car with it ...opening and closing my garage with a wii-mote...

    Kinda cool. I don't think it's the fastest way to do it though. I like doing it manually. Telescopes ftw.
