Those fluent in the lore of Warcraft III will know that Lich King Arthas Menethil sits on The Frozen Throne in the continent of Northrend. Just as The Burning Crusade debuted with a trailer of Illidan Stormrage's voice superimposed over an AMV, the initial trailer of WLK features the perspective of Arthas, and the ultimate goal of the expansion as defeating him.

The Lich King Arthas has set in motion events that could lead to the extinction of all life on Azeroth. With the armies of the undead and the necromantic power of the plague threatening to sweep across the land, only the mightiest heroes can oppose the Lich King's will and end his reign of terror for all time.

It's not another WoW game. It's an expansion.

Wow. So it isn't a bad thing if we add expansions to a game that's already swelling space... of course, that wouldn't be logical if it was another game.

        ...

Anyways, meet the newest world of addicts... today's new suicide attempt: freeze to death while trying to chisel an ice throne for the Lich King.

Its nice to see that they can keep coming with with new features and even new continents to keep their players happy, especially when the Burning Crusade wasn't released to long ago ...

This expansion will not be released any time soon. Personally I can't wait to try it. I'm not paying for WoW currently but I might renew my subscription when Wrath of the Lich King becomes available.

Cant really say that looks all that amazing.. If I do go into gaming on the Pc which I will do someday I doubt this will be on the list though people have said how amazing this is.. I dare to disagree from all trailers ive seen from these games now.
