Official: Gears 3 Has Been Challenged, Starhawk Has Raised The Bar Only On PS3

Gears 3 has had tons of competition from games such as Uncharted, Vanquish, even Quantum Theory, but this title stands out on another level and that's Starhawk.

The sheer smoothness of this gameplay has raised the third person bar for action and this game will indeed be able to go head on against Gears Of War and the talented devs over at Epic Games.

      Quantum Theory is a terrible game. The demo was enough for me. The cover system was nowhere good as it was made out to be.The gameplay sucked.It was boring and the controls were crap.

      I'm very easy to please so I rarely think a game is terrible but QT is one of the few.

    I imagine it will play a lot like Warhawk, which I really didn't like. So whatever, I'll give it a shot, but I can't really see how this and Gears are anything alike, other than being 3rd person and having guns.

    lol, dont be comparing this game with Quantum Theory. This game truly does look fantastic and I am hoping some great things come out of it. The last game to mix two genres like this was Alpha Protocol (Spy and RPG), this is an even bigger leap and I hope it succeeds. This game is definitely on my radar to purchase.
