Silent Hill 5 - First ever video footage

Akira Yamaoka, the creator of Silent Hill, said that there will be footage soon for his upcoming game Silent Hill 5. Then earlier EGM had the fist details about the game in there magazine. And now 1up has the first ever footage. Two videos have been attached for your viewing pleasure and more can be found at the source.

    Holy Hell.

    That looks awesome. I'm intrigued by the fact that 'The Collective' has decided to add more detail to combat and the such.

    The controls has always been the negative feature in Silent Hill before. And it's actually what put me off SH3 and 4.
    Only time will tell if the new combat system sinks or swims huh?

    Funny you should mention that because the controls have always been the same from SH1-SH3. It's the classic Survival Horror combat system, you take it or leave it, but people are actually satisfied with it, and if you don't like it...well...your loss.

    The graphics look amazing.

    The video and gameplay itself looks amazing.

    Silent Hill 5 is amazing, b the looks of it. Its gonna continue the well done Silent Hill series. With ultimate graphics and gameplay.

    The graphics are really helping to build a good horror setting. Sometimes the camera movement seems to be dodgy though.

      Yeah, the graphics are definitely making it looks more intense than the previous SH games. It's nice to see so much detail being in the locations.

      The wheelchair falling down the stairs was creepy!
