Well they might as well give that little flavor back, they could try to make it look a bit more realistic, because that's what made shooting feel awesome in F.E.A.R.

Btw: Project Origin was the name given to the experiment with Alma and the Cloned army. I really do hope they explained what happened in Extraction Point, because I understand the entire thing so far, I'm just missing that piece of the story...but questions like...wtf are there 2 Almas? Still bothers me...

Monolith do not own the name Sierra own the F.E.A.R brand so Monolith cannot use it, though they can use any proprietary game engine used to make the original, any character, any level, any flashback and any weapon from the original in their "sequel" and if anything the name means nothing, its like Condemned another huge horror shooter from Monolith they could call it "Search for the Pink Marshmellow" and it wouldn't matter since the game would still be as scary, it would still be as good... The name is very minimal and if anything Project Origin makes more sense than F.E.A.R... Yes First Encounter Assault Recon is the name of the squad in the original, what squad they die very early on... Project Origin actually has possibilities to tie into the story, they could go back tell us how Alma came to be properly, why we are there and why all this is actually happening, Project Origin makes more sense all round and i personally love it from the name to the gameplay to the graphics it screams AAA quality shooter.
