Let's completely ignore the gaming commercials of the late 80s and early 90s because, let's face it, you don't get much cheesier than that! But what about nowadays? Surely gaming commercials have become more "serious" since then?
... Maybe not! Microsoft has managed to out-cheese themselves with the new Scene It? commercial, which looks like it's been plucked directly from a 90s sitcom. Awww, so corny! So full of cheese!
"Alright, so it's Friday night and I'm a eunuch, and I'm all about having my friends over just like a mid 90's sitcom. You know, kicking back, dancing stupid, trying to look deep by playing my acoustic guitar. PLAYING SCENE IT ON THE XBOX 360!!!
And then we get competitive. And someone dies."
This is one of the worst commercials I have ever "scene." The worst part about video games going mainstream is that they try to appeal to *gulp* the general public.

Pretty depressing commercial, though. At least the Zelda commercial was cheesy in a funny way, this commercial bored me. It was pretty funny at first though, since he seemed ridiculously excited, but it got dull quickly after.
:}
i only watched about 20 seconds of this commercial.
Cheesey, yes. Waste of time, yes. Attention grabber? No. This game will get very little recognition with lame commercials and some resemblances to the actual DVD version. This is just a repeat of the actual game.
Besides, no one's gonna buy a 360 when they can just play the DVD version...
That was horrid.
For shame Microsoft! Crappy commercial to!
Anyway Its not that bad i kinda like it to be honest. It tests your knowledge of movies Kinda reminds me of jeopardy for movies.
Hey hate this comment all you want but i saw nothing cheesy or wrong with this commercial.
This is indeed a step up, overall, in marketing.
