This is an interview by Game Head's Geoff Keighley. He addresses that Jack is a lightning rod in the gaming world. Surprisingly enough Jack is calm and logical throughout the interview. What he says is completely justified and I actually understand where he's coming from. It's a good interview which might actually show Jack isn't truly insane.

Shame that he gets death threats from gamers. Although I'm not actually surprised.

He did seem more easy going in that interview. I don't know if I buy it, though. Maybe he ought to use the same logical reasoning a bit more often, eh?

I never really saw what was wrong with his argument in the first place. It's illegal to sell 12, 15 or 18 rated games to minors in the UK, so why should it be different in the US?

That I understand. A lot of stores in my area actively inforce that. The main thing that pisses me off with Jack is his whole "video games causes real-world violence" and "all violent video games should be banned" crusade.

It's illegal in like 3 states.

It's actually frowned upon. He was proposing banning GTA, Bully, and both Manhunt games. That's not a minor thing...but taking them off shelves.

Who cares though? It's too late. Now he is just making his own self look like an idiot.

Exactly he can try to be a nice fellow now, but he ultimately done the damage already and there no way anyone should believe this BS he comes out with. While I'll admit he did seem calm doesn't negate the fact he hate games and will do anything he can to ban them, he gets more air time than Hilary Clinton, or just as much. And just like Hillary, Jack talks so much BS its even a wonder why anyone would like them.

He still has that stupid "Moral Kombat" BS going on. I still look at him the same way I always have.
