As gamers we always look at the water effects in a video game. For some odd reason, we are always impressed by...water in a video game. What is it about water that we love so much. Maybe because its so pretty. Well a gametrailers user has uploaded a video of the top ten best water effects in video games. That is some pretty water.

Overrated game, like, but nice water effects.
I thought Metroid, Kameo and Saint's Row looked particularly awful. But meh, it's just water.
MGS3: While great for its time, the water lacks realistic displacement. It uses a graphic to sim displacement but the actual shape of the water doesn't change.
Super Mario Sunshine: NO!
Saint's Row: While it looks good, there is too no displacement.
Dunno why Super Mario Sunshine is on the list - It has some pretty generic water effects. Same goes for Kameo.
Yeah, the ordering isn't that great, and some make you go 'eh?' as to why they are there >_>
Frankly, I thought that was one of the dumbest videos ever. Only 3-4 of those games deserved to be on there.
What the hell was with the Mario one? That water effect looked terrible. Same with Kameo.
Quit getting your panties in a wad over what some pre-teen gamer thinks the best water effects are.
