Adam Sessler gives his opinion on the Fox vs Mass Effect mess.

After Fox News did an unfair report on Mass Effect, the week soon became a very interesting week in gaming. And yet another chapter has been added to the mess, with G4 host Adam Sessler giving his opinion on the Fox report.



G4 host Adama Sessler gives his opinion on the whole Fox News/Mass Effect imbroglio in this clip from a recent episode of X-Play. He presents the facts with much more aplomb and fairness than Fox did, but in the end turns the tables to give the network and author Cooper Lawrence a taste of their own medicine. Although Lawrence has since apologized for her missteps, it's still fun to watch Sessler take her and the dubious Fox News to task.

    It was all pretty good until the end. It was funny, but it seemed a little immature. Maybe that was just because he seems old.

    While I find the parting shot about Lawrence's new book hilarious to no end and well-deserved, it does seem like kind of a cheap thing to go to.

    Still, the message is right: don't talk shit about a topic if you don't have all the facts, especially seeing as how she didn't even play the game. Way to be a *bleep*ing expert there, Lawrence.

    If you noticed, gamers reacted by bombing her books on Amazon.com, giving it 1 star reviews and creating reviews to the effect of "Why are you peddling pornography like this to our children?".

    Internet justice gives me a warm feeling; these are the people that will inherit the earth in a short while.

      Same thing when that Gamespot reviewer (I think?) appearently got fired for giving Kane & Lynch a average rating...fans gave the game 1/10 all over the net. Lame...


      Adam was entertaining, and brings up some good points. I enjoy X-Play. ^^
