The game looks good, but not on par with FFX or anything.

      FFX wasn't that great.

      Good, definitely, but not great.

This game really is looking fairly good. If I had the cash I'd go buy it right now, haha. The 360 might not have many RPGs, but at least the ones that are made are generally quite good.

Even more than the PS2? I have my doubts on that one, but, you never know.

Correction fanboy (slumpy). The PS2 has more RPG games than any other console.

It's fairly obvious he meant of the current generation of consoles (7th generation iirc).

          Sigh.

I'm completely on the fence on whether or not to get this game. On one hand, I enjoy rpgs and epic adventures, but on the other the battles look insanely long and I heard the story is not so great.

I will continue to think about it.

I started playing this game yesterday and I agree with the good reviews. It's an excellent as well as beautiful game. The only problem with mine is that whichever douche that packaged it forgot to put in the fourth disk. If you like RPGs, this is a pretty good one for that class.
