For a free game this actually looks pretty cool.

I agree, I was pleasantly surprised with the gameplay footage! It's reminiscent of Valve's Team Fortress 2.

I'm thinking that EA is playing off of the popularity that TF2 got with its art style. Lack of originality but hey, everyone can't do something different, there's only so many original ideas out there

It ultimately doesn't matter though since fundamentally Battlefield is a much better game than Team Fortress.

+1 for bittorent joke. Still I'm not really sure what to make of this game, however I do like simply shooting the badguys or running over the enemy in a big cartoon tank.

I, too, am a bit surprised. This might actually be worth giving a play. Looking forward to it.

Bahah. There are tons of free games out there. Most of them aren't worth a second look, so I usually don't waste my time with them.

        But true enough.

What's wrong with "free games". I mean there a lot of free independant modifications of retail games out there that are awesome. Heck, one of the most popular shooters out there was free when it was first developed. I'm of course talking about Counter Strike (even if I don't particular like it anymore )
