Dead or Alive ladies vs. the Final Fantasy ladies

Gametrailers user Monty Oum has released his second video in the series which asks: who kicks more ass, the DoA or FF ladies?

He avoids predictability in this one (titled Dead Fantasy II), opting for some perhaps odd character choices (Rinoa, Kairi, and, even choosing to throw Ninja Gaiden's Rachel into the mix).

More episodes are to come, as well as a HD version which he promises will showcase all the little details he worked so hard for.



And once you're done watching this, you'll notice I'm far from finished. At least 5 more episodes to follow in this series starting with Dead Fantasy III Rikku Vs Ayane. What was what I felt was perhaps the strongest one was also previously planned as Dead Fantasy IV is now officially moved to Dead Fantasy III and starting production ASAP.

You seriously have not seen anything yet.

    Erm, I've never played a Final Fantasy game with Tifa so.. who is she again?
    edit: Is she the cowgirl in Crisis Core? If so, I've seen her.

        She looks completely different in this video than she does in Crisis Core, so that's why I was confused. Thanks for answering that for me. Was her model in Final Fantasy 7 different that the one in Crisis Core, and might that be why it's how it is in this video?

          In FFVII there was a flashback showing Tifa in her "cowgirl" outfit (the outfit she wore in Crisis Core). But she wore a white crop-top and a black mini skirt in FFVII.

          But, as Chris7689 said, her Advent Children outfit was used in this video. It's alot less ... er ... revealing than Tifa's usual clothes. XP

    yea she is. and she was the one in black. the look of her in this video is the one of final fantasy 7 advent children movie. and you really should play ff7, its excellent!!!

    its old school for ps1. im shocked to know you know so little of it lol. ask most gamers and theyll tell you its damn good. oh and i havent got my ps3 yet so i dunno but can u play ps1 and ps2 games on it??

    Wow twice as good as the first. Can't wait for the next one. So let me get this straight. That blonde chick on the DOA side was Nina from Tekken and that chick with the keyblade was from Kingdom Hearts but who was the one with the wings?

    That blonde girl on DoA's side is Rachel from Ninja Gaiden (xbox). Yeah that was Kairi from Kingdom Hearts, and Rinoa was the one with the angel wings, from FFVIII.

        Honestly, so was Yuna and Rikku.
        The dual-wielding Pinwheel+Gunblade was a bit over the top, but she's just...embracing her sorceress powers.
