Although the game doesn't come out until later this month(April 29th), doesn't mean so people can't be sneaky and get the game early. So it seems that the intro may seem 100% legit, you can't be sure if it is modified or not. You can decide for your self.

It won't be long until Grand Theft Auto 4's (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3) much awaited April 29 release, but that probably doesn't stop naughty kids from getting their hands on a copy as soon as they can. An interesting video went online a few hours ago, which could very well be the intro of Rockstar's game.

Keep in mind that spoiling yourself after watching the allegedly leaked video below thinking it could be fake won't be anyone else's fault. With that out of the way, we can say we share the sentiments of other viewers who doubt the "100% legit" Grand Theft Auto 4 intro.

We've been led to believe Grand Theft Auto 4 will be leaps beyond its predecessors, but the presentation here is too similar to what we've seen before. In particular, speculation of the video being from a modded GTA: San Andreas doesn't sound far fetched. Watch it and see for yourself.

My thoughts is no, since when he zooms in it says 2006 on the back. . So...

As I posted in the forum, the comments made on the video imply that it likely isn't the real thing...

Adding to that....How did he get the game hmmmm? Well, sure, some people would steal a copy, that wouldn't be surprising >_>

Like above it does say 2006, so that does mean give the thought that it isn't a real. Although to create something like the whole video it would take a fair while wouldn't it? It's very believable, yeh unbelievable.

The intro song sounds good, even if the whole thing turns outto be a fake!

I don't think it's legitimate. He didn't show us the underside of the disc, nor the game's title as displayed by the Xbox 360 Dashboard. And that's not to mention it's extremely similar to the presentation of Grand Theft Auto IV.

    Either way, it looks cool.

I gotta disagree with everyone i say its the real deal. Pretty legit, put the disc in the system, and plays. Nothing more you can say to disagree with. I saw 2008 not 2006 on the box.

Eh, I saw 2006, but I also have bad eyesight and the screen was kind of blurry and shaky. So I can't be to sure. >_>
