Atlus' Etrian Odyssey for the Nintendo DS was a curious beast in its own right. Some hated it, others were intimidated by its uncompromising difficulty, yet quite a lot - including yours truly - fell in love with how it pretty much went back to the basics. And here to entice us about an entire new handful of stratas to pillage and run away from FOEs in is the first trailer of Etrian Odyssey II: Heroes of Lazaard. Let's check it out and see what's new.

As we can see, the highlight of this trailer is the new classes - which in itself makes us all tingle deep inside. The first game already offered quite a diverse range of classes, some of which you really needed to have in order to survive. Here's hoping that the new classes will be the same, in that they fit in any sort of group configuration and still be able to contribute to survival.
