Gears of War 2- First Gameplay Footage!

Whether you're watching a movie or playing GTA IV, if you are a Gears of War fan, it's time to put down the controller for a couple minutes to see this must watch video of the Gears of War 2 gameplay. Epic's Design Director Cliff Blezinski takes you into the campaign mode for a taste of what's to come this fall. If you pay close attention, you will see that Epic really delivered with the Unreal 3 Engine--I've never seen so many Locust at once. Some other things to take note of are some new weapons, execution animations, and CHAINSAW STRUGGLE!!

Anyway, if you're a Gears fan, you HAVE to see this.

The first-ever gameplay of this highly anticipated sequel.

    Haha, you beat me to the punch. Oh well, alternate soure, for the win.

    Shame that I haven't played Gears since not many friends own a 360, but it looks very good.

    Looks amazing.
    There are some monsters based on the Crysis's SCOUT aliens in there.

    Kick ass! Looks really intense. Really cool how you can pick up and use a Locust as a shield.

    Doesn't look like much has changed from the origninal awesome GoW formula. The ability to use a Locust as a human shield and then snap their necks is pretty awesome though.

    I'll definitely be picking this up on release.

    Looks fantastic, really loving how much they've increased the scope of the game judging by the clip, as well as throwing in some new moves and animations. As long as multi-player receives the same over-haul, this game will rock.

    Looks absolutely amazing! And the scope of the landscape is stunning.

    Like Donelly said, not much has changed in terms of gameplay, but this is only the first gameplay video. We still have a while to go before all is revealed.

    I dont want them to change the gameplay. I loved how it flowed in the last one, I hope they keep it the same with a few additions.

    DID YOU SEE ALL THEM LOCUSTS!

    And the weapons look and sounf way better now.

    Eh, looks just like the first one to me. Plus, the chainsaw battles look stupid. Just button mashing. Still looks like a pretty good game though.
