Even though its 2012 there are plenty of games to fill the early year void. The best part of this that so many of these games are less then $20. "The details of the settlement have been made public and Bethesda now has full rights to the the Fallout Intellectual Property and to develop their own Fallout MMO. Interplay had allegedly begun development on the Fallout MMO with Masthead Studios but a second lawsuit by Bethesda resulted in Masthead no longer having any rights to the franchise either, leaving Bethesda in full control of all future Fallout games, and aborting any Fallout MMO that was in the works."
"There is a cloud of pessimism in the air, and much like every century or millennium end (cough…Y2K bug…cough), people throughout history like to think of the “End of The World” coming in their lifetime and attribute disasters like the Black Death to signs like misread Mayan prophesies that it is indeed coming soon.

"Call of Duty is a series which for the past few years has been increasingly slated for countless reasons and had seen more and more people move away from the series. The biggest slate is perhaps the lack of any real progression in the series and the very few changes made to the formulae being thrown back into the face of IW by the community. The newest iteration being Modern Warfare 3 had been the source of a huge uprising against the already troubled Infinity Ward being renamed the rather mo..."
A recent article on Yahoo mentioned several ways to get rid of old games. Trading them to Gamestop, Amazon, or Goozex, or selling them on eBay or Glyde. There are still other options such as Walmart, TRU, Best Buy, and Target. All of these along with Goozex are giving Gamestop a run for its money.
